Easy Oreo Style Cookies

Homemade Oreo Style Cookies These super easy and super fast DIY Oreos are great tasting, fast and incredibly easy!  Your kids will think you are the coolest mom EVER.   Winning! To create these yummy nuggets of deliciousness I combined my cake mix cookie recipe and my whipped cream frosting recipe.  Yeah, I wasn't kidding when I said 'FAST AND EASY'.... INGREDIENTS for your cookies: 1 box cake mix (any flavor you choose, red velvet, lemon & chocolate are our faves) 1/3 cup oil 2 eggs 3/4 teaspoon vanilla Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix with a spoon until dough forms.  Cover and set in refrigerator for about 1 hour.  Roll dough into balls and place on a prepared sheet pan. Bake at 350 for 9-11 minutes. *I like my cookies to be a little thick and chewy so after rolling the dough into balls I place them in the freezer for about 10 minutes and then put them immediately into the preheated oven.  I'm at a r...

From day 1, this recipe has never failed me and the instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Chocolate Cake (mix) Cookies

Oooey Gooey Chocolate Cake (mix) Cookies These cookies are pretty much perfect... Fast, easy, oooey, gooey, yummy goodness!  They are also a perfect Valentines Day treat for your macho-macho man.  Ingredients: Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix 1/3 C. oil 2 eggs 3/4 tea vanilla 1/2 Cup sugar Place all ingredients (EXCLUDING SUGAR)in a large bowl and stir with a spoon until a dough forms.  Cover bowl and place in refrigerator for 1 hour. Pour 1/2 cup sugar into a bowl.   Using a small ice cream scoop place a scoop of dough in your hand and roll into a ball.  Place ball of dough into bowl containing sugar and roll around until completely covered.  Place on a cookie sheet.  (I like to pop the tray of cookies in the freezer at this point for about 10 minutes.
